The surprise decision by the Supreme Court, to uphold the Affordable Health-Care Work as being constitutional, leaves the corporate-controlled media in a condition of panic. The concept that a Republican could side with President barack obama, especially during a presidential election year, has left them grasping for straws on how to progress. After they announced incorrectly that it was unconstitutional, Fox (so-called) news and Rush Limbaugh showed considerable stress in the decision as well as for a little while these were just throwing out unintelligible comments. Of course the Republican leadership remains trying to repeal the Affordable Health-Care Act before it's put into place.

Well, allow Rush to frame their new strategy. To input it in their basic form, the Courts ruled the affordable health care insurance option is constitutional since it is nothing more than a tax. So, Rush decides it must be the greatest TAX Rise in A history Around the globe, and television advertisements from your Koch Brothers as well as their billionaire buddies have followed suit. I recently saw a TV spot proclaiming that it was a $2 trillion tax increase. I’m not sure if they think that the higher the lie is, the greater it's going to influence people, or what. But, that lie is a BIG ONE! (maybe the greatest in the history of the world)
So, here are the facts:
1) If you have health insurance (~250 million Americans), this won't affect you In any way;
2) If you don’t have healthcare (~30 million Americans), there will be affordable health plans and government aid;
3) If you're making a significant amount of money (~$50,000) and select NOT to purchase a health care insurance plan, then And just THEN do you want to have a tax penalty
Notice that it's a tax penalty and never a tax increase. The tax penalty is dependant on the fact if people don’t have health insurance, eventually they will need health services (that are taught in government/tax-payers), and so the penalty is needed cover these expenses down the road. In states which have had Much the same plans set up, there were less than 2% of people that didn't obtain a health care insurance plan and made a decision to pay the penalty instead.
This type of person the only real ones that will pay more when they file their taxes, since they choose to pay the penalty. So, I don’t understand how this concerns $2 trillion, I suppose you need to ask Rush.
Other Fox-Debunked Items:
1) You will see a lack of doctors once this can be set up, there will need to be 60,000 more doctors to pay for everyone. Sounds just like a stimulus for job growth in my experience.
2) Doctors don't spend plenty of time along with you for this reason plan- NO, Insurance providers are the instigators of the because when much they pay doctors for several types of procedures - quite simply, if they pay $50 for any typical appointment, a physician might need to see 6 patients an hour to cover their overhead (many of which is malpractice insurance). The health care insurance option isn't essentially yet, therefore it couldn't have effected along doctor's time with patients yet.
3) Those who can't afford Health Care will be penalized - NO, you will have a variety of plans and government help to ensure it is affordable to everyone!
Other Notable Facts:
1) Children between the ages of 21 and 26, is now able to remain on their parents health care plans.
2) People with pre-existing conditions can’t be denied coverage nor charged an exorbitant rate.
3) 105 million people who were going to be cut removed from their health plans, because they have reached their life-time limits, have reached no danger of losing their coverage.
4) Free preventive screenings, employed by millions of people yearly, remain free.
5) Unfortunately, the entire plan will not be totally set up until 2014 (initially the tax penalty come in place).
Ths issue for all of us moving forward will be the propoganda and negativity being released there through the corporate controlled media, elected Republicans, and Insurance firms that is influencing voters to vote against their particular interests. They can do something that they can to make certain that their final point here is not effected, regardless how many Americans are put into danger by their acts.
Even though the plan has a lot of flaws, it is the first step to ensure that america to become listed on another 78 civilized world that currently have national health coverage. It’s about time that we catch up with the rest of the world!
